  1. Interesting discussion. I actually was unsure if the ventriloquist was Scarface or not up until they showed him carving a new head. There were times I believed that he was, and times they tricked me into believing he wasn’t (the “Scarface asleep in the other room” scene was pretty convincing to me).

    • I agree about the Scarface “asleep in the other room” scene. It’s fascinating that it plays both ways even if you know The Ventriloquist is Scarface. It’s not easy to do, and yet they make it work and push it into “well what is going on here” territory. That level of storytelling tells of the sophistication with which the show is produced. Very cool.
